Pots, jugs, bowls, mugs and large plates emerging from my kiln of late have been (subliminally, I can only imagine) inspired by picnics, sunny walks in the countryside, ambling along the canal and remembering my childhood holidays on the barges which used to frequent the local waterways…bliss…

My younger daughter, Zanna (14), must have gratitude and praise heaped upon her for her wonderful photography of my latest work – it’s all meant to feel lovely and summery and she has miraculously (given the abysmal weather) fulfilled everything I asked of her…
